Football United celebrated International Women's Day 2012 at Auburn Girls High School in Sydney, running workshops, a guest panel and, of course, a football tournament.

The theme for Harmony Day 2012 was Sport. "Play, engage, inspire and recognises the important role and positive influence that sport has in our multicultural nation". It could almost have been written for Football United! We celebrated Harmony Day with a number of special activities in Fairfield, Blacktown and Liverpool, as well as the grand finale: the Sydney FC Harmony Day game. 

 

South Australia Launch

UniSALaunch

The Football United-UniSA (FUn-UniSA), "football for social development" program, was launched on Saturday 18 February in Elizabeth Downs. The launch has been a great opportunity for community members, agencies and organisations to come together and celebrate sport and social inclusion.

Football United Digital Connections project wrapped up for 2011 with a high profile showcase event. Over 200 people squeezed into the Scientia Building at the University of NSW to view the Digital Connections Photo Gallery, watch Football United films and mingle with participants and special guests.

 

Football United Festival

One of the biggest days on the Football United calendar saw 300 participants take part in the annual Football Festival on Friday 4th November at the Roger Sheeran Oval, Macquarie University Sports Fields.
