Football United is a Foundation Partner of Creating Chances. The Creating Chances Lifeskills program was founded in 2013 by UNSW through Football United.  In 2014, in collaboration with the Rugby Youth Foundation), the Creating Chances Social Enterprise, Creating Chances Limited,  was founded through which the Creating Chances Lifeskills program has been expanded and continues to grow and develop.

Football United is directly engaged with UNSW’s Yunus Social Business Health Hub (YSBHH) research into sport for social change (S4SC). Football United is purposefully designing social change, development programs that harness the positive power of sport specifically  to address the sustainable development goals. This is made possible by going beyond community-based sports programs and integrating the social business sector to ensure sustainability and change.
